I have evaluated my medical entrance exam with the answer keys. I found my marks to be 731 out of 960. (353+378). I would like 2 know my probable rank. I belong 2 general category and would like 2 know whether dat rank wud make me eligible 4 a medical seat in govt college.?

TVM IIST; Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; IITs of Chennai, Bombay, Kanpur and Kharagpur, Indian Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IIAE) in Dehradun and Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) India, Anna University Chennai, are the premier institutions offering UnderGraduate course in aerospace engineering. Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, also seems to be offering the course (it's a deemed varsity) IIT Kanpur possesses its own flight test aircraft and airfield for students in the discipline.

This field deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space exploration and defence systems. It specialises in the designing, construction, development, testing, operation and maintenance of both commercial and military aircraft, spacecrafts and their components as well as satellites and missiles. So institutions including ISRO and DRDO are the destination of an aerospace engineer. There are commercial destinations also at the national and international level.

Though highly paid, the work is very challenging. An aeronautical engineer needs to be physically fit and fully dedicated to his work. One needs to be alert, have an eye for detail and should have a high level of mathematical precision to be successful.

The specialisations includes in areas like structural design, navigational guidance and control systems, instrumentation and communication or production methods or it can be in a particular product such as military aircraft, passenger planes, helicopters, satellites, rockets etc. Engineers may work in areas like design, development, maintenance as well as in the managerial and teaching posts in institutes. They find a very good demand in airlines, aircraft manufacturing units, air turbine production plants or design development programmes for the aviation industry. Aerospace environment is sophisticated with rewarding career opportunities involving cutting-edge technology.

i am a medical aspirant and have attended kerala medical entrance exam 2010.I belong to ezhava and thus have caste reservation.i secured 465 marks and i hope a rank of about 6079 as per 2009 results.i would like to know whether i would be able to get into one of the medical coleges this year with my marks and caste reservations. hope to get an immediate reply
