Respected Sir,
I am currently doing B.tech. My query is regarding my brother.He has appeared for the Kerala Engg Entrance 2010 and secured a mark of 511 out of 960.
According to last year's statistics he should be getting a rank around 400. But i have heard (a hearsay) that this time the KEAM was much easier compared to 2009.
I used to think they maintain the same standard for questions every year,but now I am doubtful.
Can you please give me your opinion regarding this? Was the exam actually easier for all.
Some experts said that my brothers rank could go above 1000.
Could that be the case? He is looking forward to getting admitted in CET,especially in the CSE stream.
Please give me your opinion on this.

Making any prediction at this point is not correct. There is a talk going around that this year's exam was much easier than last years'. But then you have to take into consideration the intelligence of the paticipating candidates. Have they all fared well? You need to wait and see for the actual results to come. Right now what one can do is to have rough idea about the rank and the last ranksfrom the previous year's list and the possible colleges where one can get admissions. Hope the trend remains the same. Generally a wide variation is not expected.
sir, i have obtained 293 marks for kerala engineering examinations 2010. what rank am i expected to get for this exam? also i am interested to know whether i would get an admission in tkm college of engineering for electronics and communication?

Sir,I am writing this year's CUSAT exam.As per the previous year papers (downloaded from mathrubhumi)there are 125 questions in each paper ie, 250 in total.The time given is three hours as per this year''s instructions.Is there any change in pattern this time as 250 questions in 180 minutes looks quite strange as far as common entrance exams are concerned.

As per the published key , I got 861 marks for the kerala medical entrance examination and this counts for the 94th rank in last year's examination. Can i hope to get a medical seat at trivandrum medical college. Can you provide me with the last allotted rank in general category last year at tvm medical college.

Last rank details will be put in this portal tonight . Keep watching. About your first question : Students' preferences change frequently as far as MC TVM and MC CLT are concerned. So there can not be any prediction as to the college. Why should you worry ? You would be getting admission at either one of these MCs. Wish you all the best.
