In 2009 this mark had a rank of 720. If the scene has no major fluctuations you should get a seat in the general category for MBBS. Wish you all luck. Anyway wait for the results and announcement of admission schedule.. There may be changes this year. Be optimistic. Wish you all the best.

Last year this mark had fetched a rank around 2500. If the trend continues this year too, in general category merit admission seems to be a remote possiblity. Sir, I have got 427 marks in kerala engineering entrance examination 2010, and i would like to know the courses i may get in Computer Science/IT, and the job oppurtinities in IT. Is IT not a safe option now ?

As per last year records, your rank will be around 1000 . As far as engineering stream is concerned this is a good rank and you can opt a better branch than CS and IT. If you are interested take a branch with electronics or opt mechanical /civil engg. Demand for CS/IT people may change frequently while that of others will remain for ever. All the best.

See the last ranks of 2009 in this link http://education.mathrubhumi.com/static/keralaentrance/lastrank/index.html and assess the possiblity. There may be changes this year following the addition/deletion of colleges in the govt allotment. So to get a clear picture of this year you will have to wait till govt announcement comes on allotment. Ok? All the best.

For the second round of counseling last year the student with a rank of 3650 was called for. This year the number of seats has been increased from last year. So, for unreserved category, ranks of 4000 - 4500 may be considered as a bench mark roughly. Be optimistic. All the best. This is not a Kerala picture, but an all India scenario.
