sir,
The news about '10 MCS throws rules to wind ' how does it affect the 2010 medical and engg. admissions in Kerala? what is the present scenario? Any more information in this regard?

The report itself is self explanatory. As per MCI norms the eligiblity condition for MBBS/BDS admission is minimum 50pc marks in the qualifying examination. But to one's wonder here the association prescribes a minimum of 50, 55, 65 and 70pc marks for admission to their member colleges . Moreover the advt which appeared in a least curcualated daily does not mention whether the admission as per that advt is for mgmt seats or full seats. They even close the date of application on May 14, when even the CEE has not taken a decision on the date of publication of entrance results. These member colleges were included in last year's allotment by CEE. Understood the ploy?

That's right. Students are saying the exam was easy this year than last year. But we don;t know how it will reflect on the results since we are not aware of the performance by the students. We will have to wait till the results come. Wish you all the best.

Final decision is not yet taken in this regard. As per the proposal of the committee, 50:50 weightage is to be given for both entrance exam mark and the mark in qualifying examination for arriving at the rank. Wait for the final decision to come.

When KEAM results will come out, expected dates of counselling. Dates of AIEEE and Cusat entrance exam results and counselling dates. Upto which rank will get admission in Govt. Colleges in Kerala(KEAM).

KEAM results are expected by the middle of May or before. Counselling dates cannot be predicted now since many rounds of talks have to be taken place before that. The results of AIEEE-2010 is likely to be declared on or before 7th June, 2010. The All India/State Rank to be called for Central counselling will be decided by Central Counselling Board which will be constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and decision of seat matrix etc. will be taken by Central Counselling Board. The required information will be displayed at appropriate time on website www.ccb.nic.in . CUSAT entrance is to be held on 9th May. Decision on declaration of results and couselling schedule is not yet reached. For knowing the the possiblity of getting seat in govt college see last year's position at the following link. http://www.mathrubhumi.com/keralaentrance/lastrank/index.html
Sir...I get around 470 in kerala CEE 2010..
Considering the easiness of the paper ,since the comparison with the previous years rank has now become obsolete ..I would like to know..by how much the ranks are gonna change in this 450-500 range.

How can this be predicted Kurien? We can only speak about the possibilities since we have no idea on the general performance of the students. If the papers were easier this year compared to 2009, the ranks will come down as compred to 2009. How much this is going to change depends on the general performance of students. Anyhow, wait for a few days.
