In MS varsity's website there is link on the right extreme side with a button for IIPM . That goes to the following link http://www.msuniv.ac.in/apr10/iipm.pdf . This does not mean that this course has DEC approval. Verify well before taking a decision.

You can check your rank and the last rank for various medical allotments last year in the following link. There is a separate section (code) for knowing the codes for various colleges and courses. This is the only way to understand how things can happen in this year's allotment. There will certainly be some differences in the trend this year. Be positive. which one is a better option -doing m.tech or a post graduate diploma after b.tech?what is the difference between them?
Posted by Nishad Aboobacker, Kannur On 04.05.2010

It depends on the subject. Generally MTech is preferred. By doing a diploma you may save a year. A Diploma is considered as an add on qualification and a quick bridge to a job. MTech is useful for those who want to pursue teaching profession. Those desiring further research in the subject also can have use of it.
