Sir, I will write SAY exam for physics on 17th May 2010. The result will be published in June. When should I apply for PLUS ONE admission through the single window? The last date is 20th May.

I have equal aptitude for both electronics and mechanical. Considering the present trends and future changes,which will be best to opt for? Also,will a mere B.TECH be enough after four years. NEED AN EXPERT ADVICE..Thank you..........

Both EC ME have high potential at present and will have scope in future also. Onething you have to understand is the time gap. If you join for BTech this year, after your systematic study you will pass out only in 2015. So don't worry about the scope and future of the courses. There may be changes by then. Engg core branches will have demand all times. It is better to go for MTech after BTech, if we go by the present trend . Wish you all the best.

Biomedical engg is mainly dealt with conception , design and manufaturing of medical equipments. You know new and new machines are being conceived , desingned and manufactured in the medical field. Years back there was only xray to take an inside view of the human body. Now CT scanners and MRI scanners have replaced it. Similarly heart lung machine, pace maker, ECG, EEG and so on. More and more innovations are being taken place in this field. But biotechnology is totally different from this. It is the area of genetics which has high potential in future. More and more research is going on in health sector in the area of BT. For example, you might be knowing that a number of diseases are posing great threat to humankind like rabies. It is a disease caused by dog bite. It is caused by a virus called rabies virus. It is extremely fatal if not treated. There is no cure for rabies hence immunization is very important after a dog bite. Research is going on for the discovery of a cure for this problem. Another disease is AIDS for which also a 100 pc foolproof cure is not yet found out. If you are asking about BSc Biotech, it is dealt with this R & D area. And BTech biotech is the engg side of this R&D. Hope you did get some idea about both now.

There are some Institutions that consider admitting non GATE qualified students for M.Tech after considering all the GATE applicants, if seats remain unfilled. Ususally, this fact will be mentioned in the advertisement/notification. You have to watch this and apply accordingly.
i am waiting my 10th board exam results. I am sure of getting above 85%. though like any other students I am in a confusion that which is my next route. The main problem is I havenot decided my future plan yet or in which field i can shine more. Can you help me in this situation?

You are completing 10 years of school education now. You are now at a turning point which can decide your future. So as you have said, you must be in a confusion about the course to choose at the Plus Two stage. That is quite natural and do not get worried about it since there are many students like you who are yet to take a decision on their futire course. By now you must have identified your likings and dislikes. You must be able to say by now whether you are good at Maths or good at Biology or in Social Sciences. There should be some subjects which you would love to study and some others which may not be very comfortable for you. Choose your future course based on this. If you are palnning a career in the non-science stream, decide whether to go for the Commerce or Humanities stream. If you have a liking for the science subjects, choose a group accordingly. A student with Biology and Maths can go for the engineering or the medical stream, if you have the liking for that. You can choose Commerce group if you are interested in that field. There is Law that you can take up. Courses are there as per your likings. So, identify your likings and proceed.

You have to satisfy yourself and also your parents. The financial aspect is also there. If you are very paritcular about doing aerospace engg, then do not think twice on that. Go ahead. The opportunities after that will be limited generally to that field. With an Electrical Engg Degree, there might be wider options for you. But the prioirty should be for your chioce.
for my daughter. 10 A+.wish to join commerce group. after plus two wish to do chartered accountancy.like to know which combination under commerce group is useful to her.

Commerce with Statistics/Maths, will be a good choice if you are palnning to send the child for CA Course. If she is good at Maths then go for the Statistics option. But discuss with the child also.
