Several colleges conduct individual entrance tests and admission. You have to fulfill their criteria for merit admission. You may enquire about it and find out. The medical admission process under Dr MGR Medical University, is yet to begin. Await the notification in this website. Sir,
I'm asking this for my friend. His date of birth in birth certificate is june 15 which is the correct one .But in all other documents like SSLC, college certificates, the date is june 16 .
1) Is the SSLC certificate a proof to date of birth ?
2) He is planning to take passport. Will this be a problem to that ?
3) If we need to correct the date either in birth certificate or SSLC , what all are the procedures ?

SSLC is a proof of Date of Birth. Nothing to worry. For taking passport he need not produce birth certificate, but SSLC is a must. (attested copy will do). For correcting this mistake your friend needs to do a number of formalities. Since this correction in minimal, a mere visit to DPI office,Tvm can solve all the problems,we expect. Before that approach the Dist stationery depot in his district and ask for the prescribed form for it and follow the things mentioned in it.

i am just awaitin my results for the engineering kerala entrance exams 2010.on checking the key i have got an over all score of 166, which when looked in your website was nearest to the rank12143 for last year.

i have got an SC reservation.

i want to know two things:

1) am i able to get a merit seat in thrissur govt engineeringg college for mechanical engineering.

2)can i get a merit seat for aeronautical engineering in nehru college with this mark.

Nehru college (if you are referring to the Coimbatore one) does not accept KEAM rank.

To know the Thrissur engineering college position pls check the last rank for the particular course in Thrissur College from the last ranks for 2009 given in the following link. You haven't specified which university you had studied. You have to contact the academic section or the examination wing of that particular university. You may also try to contact the Public Relations section of the university for a proper guidance on the subject.
Lately many reports has surfaced on the decline of CUSAT.Should I choose CUSAT above a good gov college like TKM or TRISSUR?

We do not wish to make any comment on the choice. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of each institute, their past records, opinion of students and teachers, infrastructure facilities in each institution, the age of the institution, student preferences, which is the most important one, and then take a decision.
I have done MSc Applied Chemistry from CUSAT, Kerala. I did MS in Organic Chemistry from Texas University. I'm living in US and working as a research Chemist. US Universities do not offer MPhil program, which I wish to do. I would like to know about 'Distance Education' MPhil chemistry progrmas of Indian institutions..institutions offering it, it's value(accredition of the course) etc. Thanking you,

If it is CBSE, it might come after the third week of May. Kerala results are expected on May 12th.

Fifty percent merit seats are reserved for Keralaites like that of last year.
