If you finish with good score and ensure a campus placement, your career will be safe. It is all about coming out with flying colours, then you will be absorbed by a reputed company. If you are confident about that, you can proceed.

Your question is not clear. Are you referring to degree courses? English, Economics, History, Geography, Geology, Malayalam (all language courses), Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, come under Arts section.

Sir,
I've got 609 in KEAM 2010(having MU reservation). According to last rank 2009, I may get admission to CS at TVE and EC at TKM. As an expert, considering whole aspects like placement, job security , which do you think, I should prefer.

If you choose between EC and CS, EC may be a better option (unless you have specific interest in CS) since with CS you might be narrowing down. There are certain firms that look for CS graduates. If you have a college preference, then CET may be a better choice in terms of placements. THis does not take away the credit of TKM which also is in demand. Again, it is your taste that matters. Think well and take a decision and firmly believe that you have taken the best possible decision.
