The allotment is expected to start in the first or second week of June. With your rank, you may not get a seat in the merit quota. In that case you will need to try for management seat.
sir, what is the difference between EC & EE ? my friends say that computer science is better than EE. which of these branches is better?

EC has more part of Communication while that of EE has more of Electricals. Difficulty level depends on the aptitude of students. EE is said to be of slight tight syllabus.

The result of AIEEE-2010 is not yet published. It is likely to be declared on or before 7th June, 2010.

i have got 18012th rank(engg) in kerala entrance also i belong to mu catagory. is it possible to get a seat in any govt engg college? if not, in any aided colleges. i would like to do mechanical engg.

The rank of the last admitted muslim candidate in ME branch in govt college was 5553 in the final allotment. You may get ME in private self financing college. Otherwise you may try for another branch. Last year there was a high demand for ME. That trend may continue this year also. Wait for the beginning of online registration of options for admission .

There are only two campuses under Cusat for BTech study which give admission on the basis of Cusat CAT . They are Thrikkakkara and Pulinkunnu campuses. Comparatively the former one is said to be good.

As per last year statistics, you should get ME admission at SCT. The rank of the last admitted student for ME at SCT was 3275. You can try for other colleges too since the last ranks of these colleges except TVE and TKM are not far from your rank. All the best.

For ME, SCMS is not bad. You can try for other colleges also where fees rate is less. The last ranks in govt controlled SF colleges in 2009 were 7973 at College of Engineering, Thalassery, Kannur (CAPE ) and 7736 at Calicut Uty Institute of Engg & Tech, Thenhipalam, Malappuram

It is not Thrikkarippur, but Thrikkakkara. Thrikkakkara campus is defenitely better than Kuttanad campus.
