Sir, my CUSAT rank is 2462 and I belong to general category. As I understand, I am eligible for 50% quota of outside Kerala applicants. What are my chances of getting Mech Engg and which campus is best? The last year's cut off list does not differentiate status of non kerala state students.

50 pc of the total seats seats are reserved for Keralites and it is free seat. In the table F stands for free seats and P stands for payment seats.

They are private self financing colleges . You can go through the last rank list of last year to know the acceptability of the college.

Sir.my kerala rank is 8525. this entitles me for admission in most of the SF colleges in kerala. i had also attempted cusat exam,and my rank is 6580. will i get a seat in SOE or their kuttanad campus? my preferred branch is mechanical. so which of these colleges is better,and which is the good SF colg in ekm.? and i would like your opinion on Vidya college of engg in thrissur too. please reply. thak you.

If you are planning for management seat admission, think well. This year the mgmt fee in private SF colleges may go up. We cannot suggest you any particular college. You can go by the last ranks of 2009 to know the accessability of colleges.

sir,the list of last rank admitted 2009 that you provided to me earlier,does that show the last rank admitted to the campus colleges of CUSAT or the private colleges affliated to CUSAT???

Admissions to the private colleges affiliated to Cusat are being done by the CEE. Only admissions to the two campuses of Cusat are done on the basis of Cusat CAT. SOE stands for Cusat's School Of Engineering (Thrikkakkara) and CUCEK stands for Pulinkunnu campus.

There is no reservation for non Keralites. 50 pc free seats are reserved for Keralites. Admission to the remaining 50pc will be made from both sections. There are no private engg college under Cusat to which admission is made by Cusat.
are the students from outside kerela eligible for pursuing ship building engineering from CUSAT?If yes then how many seats are reseved for them?
