In 2009, the last allotment for CS under State merit in TCR went to rank 4080. All branches are good for girls if they like the branch.

I checked out the "AIEEE last ranks" link given in the mathrubhumi education website and am confused about what you mean by "State wise Opening and Closing Ranks: AIEEE 2009", is the list published according to the AIEEE overall rank or State rank? Also can you please explain to me what is the use of the state rank published along with the AIEEE result?

There is the All India quota and Home State quota in each NIT. All candidates are eligible to be considered for All India Seats while only those belonging to the Home State are eligible for Home State quota. Opening and closing ranks are published based on the All India rank only. State wise opening and closing ranks denote the status of allotments made to candidates of the particular state in different participating institutions where seats are reserved for them.

it was said tat there will be a fee reduction for the merit seats in the govt supported self financing colleges from RS 25000..
have they reduced it?or will there be any reduction?

Electronics & Instrumentation provides knowledge and skills in understanding and applying instrumentation to measure precisely, record and control process variables (such as flow, temperature, level and pressure). Control, through the application of automation techniques and computer-aided processes, works to keep these variables at desired levels of safe, economic and other constrained values. Control and instrumentation engineers research, identify, design, install, purchase, develop, test and maintain instruments, electronic devices and computer control systems in process industries.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering is the branch which deals with production ,distribution, maintenance of power. This includes the study of the machines and components involved in the above. Electrical engineers design or maintain the electrical machines in big power corporations, factories, Hotels etc. Wherever there is an electric installation there is a need for an electrical engineer.
