You may try in private SF mgmt seat for which you have to approach the individual mgmts. Govt's online regn as of now does not include BDS and other medical courses apart from MBBS.

Apply when CEE's online regn of options begins for these courses. As of now it is not included in the first phase of CAP.

i have a rank of 8000 under aieee (obc) category rank..
and a state rank 1300 with category rank 550 can i get into nitc? any hope??

See this link for opening and closing ranks at NITC last year. http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2009/aieeecouns09/orcr/InstituteWiseAllot.aspx If your All India Rank is 8000 you should be able to get admission in any one of the branches. When regn of options begins on 8th June give your options and wait for allotment. If you get admission pl. let us know and main the relation with this portal in future also. All the best.
once alloted to a management seat in 1st allotment in model engineering college,is he eligible for merit seat either in the same college or any other govt. colleges through higher options?.will the fees remitted for management seat be refunded?

Higher options will be considered for next allotment and the excess fee will be refunded after closing of admissions by CEE by around December.

It all depends on your aptitude. Scope is almost same for all branches. NSS palakkad is one of the best colleges in Kerala for BTech. If you get admission there , join there without any hesitation.

Veterinary science has enough job potential in Kerala and outside. If you get admission for BVSc join for it without any doubt. With this rank perhaps you may get admission at Veterinary college, Pookkod.
1.My son has scored 1007 rank in CEE. my native place is trivandrum. Sir, i request your guidance in choosing between the following :
Computer Science in CET and
EC in Barton Hill. From the previous ranks, i feel that he will get Computer Science in CET. What are his chances for getting Mechanical in CET? If not CET, for Mech which is better - Barton Hill or TKM.

2. In AIEEE, he has a score of All india rank 18536(gen category 14890) Maharastra State rank 1282(Gen category 1072). What are his chances of getting in a good college in
Kerala/Maharashtra.

3. what is the comparison of placements under Mechanical, Electrical and Computer Science in CET?

Regarding your first question , the answer for ME is TKM, if not CET, no doubt. For the answer to your second question see this link http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2009/aieeecouns09/orcr/InstituteWiseAllot.aspx . This refers to the opening and closing ranks in VNIT, Nagpur, your home state. As per last year records, it seems difficult to get into with this rank in VNIT, if you have no other reservation. With the same link you can find out the position in NITC. Now coming to the third question, placement record shows almost same demand for all these branches. Only the thing which matters is the result pc and track record in semester exams. OK ?

It is upto you. Our opinion is : better save a year by avoiding repeating . There is no assurance that you will get better rank next year. Join SF college for ME or EC and become an engineer a year ahead than your repeating chance.

my kerala engineering rank is 2141 and i have ezhava quota.can i secure a seat in tcr engineering college for EC or MECH.OR EC in model engg college thrikkakara?

As per last year data you should be able to get at Model. There the rank of the last admitted student for EC last year was 3227. Chance for TCR is not sure. The last rank there for EZ category was 1926. Anyway, give priority to TCR while giving options and wait for the trial allotment on Wednesday after which you will get enough time to reconsider.
