You can see the last ranks at these colleges and see how the students prefered these colleges. That should give a ranking of the colleges.
My son has registered 30 opetions for B.Tech admission. Suppose if he gets option no.8, option no.9 to 30 will be automatically cancelled. After the first allotment whether any option above the alloted no. i.e. from 1 to 7 can be deleted by candidate.

Yes. The facility of cancelling options from 1 to 7 that candidate is not interested in, will be activated during a specified time period after the first allotment. Candidate can do it then.
Sir, Pls reply for my question.
I may not get in Govt/Aided for ME. ( KEAM Rank: 8230 and EZ category). Now I am confused about next options. Chances are there to get in the following, 1) College of engineering, Adoor 2 ) College of Engg, Talassery, 3 ) University of calicut engg college 4) LBS Kasargod.
( All r in Rs 20000 Fees category)
AMong these which is better for ME.? Pls sir I am waiting for your opinion.

Since you are at Kannur, it would be better to go for a college near to your residence unless you have any specific interest in any other college.
1. For Cusat, I find that all the candidates have been called for counselling on succeeding dates starting from 26th June. Now, having the options completed can the candidates know their chance for admittance before the counselling date ? I have been told on phone call to Cusat office that the position will be known only at the time of counselling (joining the course). But, it seems strange because all candidates who have no chance also will have to go for counselling, prepared to join the course. In most other entrance exams, the allotment is done before joining the college.

2. Also, once the student joins the college and decides to leave, how long will it take to get the certificates (not the fees) back because these may be required urgently to join another college.

Well, the procedures are within the jurisdiction of the admitting authorities. We may not have much options or say in that.
sir, is it better to take chemical engineering in thrissurGEC or mechanical in NSS pallakkad??????????????? as iam interested in both branch....please do give the more apt based on the scope

Sir, My son's Kerala engineering entrance 2010 rank near 24000. He has now secured a management seat in a private self financing college. Will we get the money (fees and deposit) back if he gets a merit seat in another private self financing college in the forth allotment?

That depennds on the terms and conditions of the Management admissions, whihc has to be ascertained from the concerned management.

According to last rank data i'm most likely to get admission for EC at NSS.
Sir my question is whether NSS is a reputed college or not. How about the placements.Is NSS a good choice or should i prefer GEC TRICHUR for ME and other lower courses.Plase provide me your valuable advice as time is running off.

NSS is an old aided college whihc has reputation. But TCR is a better prefered college of students as per the last ranks.
sir my rank for keam is 16331 (general) . .n i have LC reservation to..(low income)
Cusat rank 8000. . wil i be able to get admission in any of the college as per keam? .. for btech IT .

In 2009, candidates with this rank with LC reservation got allotment for IT in Govt Colleges.
