Sir , my CEE Rank [Engg] : 1096 and last year's minimum rank for EEE-CET , Trivandrum was 965.Considering last year's different influencing factors [like global depression,trends] :

[1] Can I hope to get EEE at CET,tvm ?

[2] Is any kind of TRANSFER possible [say from Barton Hill EEE to CET EEE , tcm ] before the second year's start , considering a difference of about 130 ranks ?

Don't think that you won't be getting at CET. Be positive. Give higher options at CET and wait for allotment on June 13.
My daughter's KEAM rank is 29,664 and I have booked an NRI seat in a self financing college for BTech EC. Can she try in Govt Merit? In case she gets a seat anywhere in Kerala and does not want it due to remoteness etc, will it affect the NRI seat? Thanks

No problem. If she gets allotment and if she does not want it , do not pay fee. Then the option regn will automatically cancelled and your kid will be out of CAP. You can give options now and try your luck now.

m y questn is about the reservation cryteria.i am a SEBC(OBC) candidate seeking admission for MTECH.my doubt is that if i applied in SEBC catogory ,i will be consider for only the reserved seat or both seat(reserved and general)?????

In Kerala admissions, all candidates are first considered under State Merit. In case seats are not available under State Merit, a candidate having SEBC reservation will be considered for allotment against the seats reserved for the concerned category.
sir,i am a obc candidate, my aieee rank is 22147 and keam(engg) rank is 729.according to ccb website the last rank for computer science engg in nit calicut went up to 25299. as the counciling of both aieee and keam occurs almost simultaneously i dont know which i should choose as im not sure of getting admission in nit,please help me.

For CS at NIT the possiblity is very remote and so it is good to accept a seat in CET , TVM as oer KEAM allotment. Even after you can try for NIT by giving options as per CCB schedule. If you get at NIT , you can get back the money you remit in the name of CEE by December this year.

For first round counseling only upto around 5500 are called. So you will have to wait till the secons counseling.

How many allotments were there for Kerala Engineering private self financing colleges in 2009. How many allotments are there in 2010. Does it mean that more students will get admission in self financing colleges on state merit than last year?

Last year there were only two allotments. This year it is said that there will be four allotments to private SF colleges which means more seats will be available for govt allotment. After first,second allotments, students normally discontinue at SF colleges if they get admission at govt/aided or govt SF colleges. Last year these seats were filled by those mgmts. This year these seats also will be filled by CEE.

You will have to apply to the University in the prescribed application form as per the procedure prescribed by the University, with necessary documents specified in the application.
