Which is a better choice?
1.CS from IT-BHU
2.CS from IIT-Hyderabad
3.Mech from IIT-Hyderabad
My personal preference is for CS but is the IIT tag worth so much as to give precedence to IIT-H which is a new IIT established in 2008? Will IT-BHU be upgraded to an IIT any time soon?

If you have a liking for the IIT tag, do not think twice. Choose IIT H. About upgradation answer has been given in another question.

will the allotmt fr bds in keam begin b4 first alootmt of engineerin..my rank is 2590 in med..so i hope to gt a seat 4 bds in sf collg...bt incase i din gt it i opt 4 engineering...so if enter the options 4 engineerin nw and the allotments b4 bds then i will hv to remit the fees right/?will it b returnd if gt 4 bds

Allotments to BDS will not be there in the first round. When they are included in the process, you will have the facility to opt them also. If you get engineering in first round, you will have to remit the fee for that now. The fee goes to the account of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams. So in case you get BDS susequently, the fee remited initially will be adjusted against the amount to be paid later.
My daughter has Rank 1037 in all india agriculture entrance AIEEA ug2010. Does she stand a chance to get Bsc Ag in TNAU Coimbatore or UAS Bangalore? How do you rate ANGRAU Hyderabad as the next choice?

Regarding AIEEA, there is no past data available to make any assessment of the chances for admission.

AS per trends of 2009 it may be difficult for your friend to get a seat in medical stream with this rank. But give options when it can be given and see. Dairy Sc Technology is a B.Tech course for which you have to be included in the Engg rank list.

As per the allotment pattern of 2009, it may be difficult to get an allotment in NIT calicut. Your reservation category under SEBC has not been specified. Candidates in your rank range have not got allotment for EC or EE under SM in MAC in 2009. Gove options and see.

In AIEEE my daughter got rank

overall 45423

category(GN)34426.

Her state rank

overall 1469

category890.

What is the use of this state overall and category rank? Do they consider this rank? In the list they put AI rank. So how can we compare our state rank with that? When we see the list there is HS quota for every category, are they giving the state rank or AI rank for HS quota? Are they alloting HS quota on state rank basis ? Sir, with my daughter's rank, does she have any hope of getting admission in any NIT's? By looking into the list I am getting confused whether to use AI rank or State rank.

Pls help.

All the ranks specified are All India Ranks. Even under Home State category allotment, the All India Rank is considered but the allotment will be restricted to Home State candidates. The State rank can indicate whether there is a chance to get allotment under HS category. For example, if there are 300 seats at NIT Calicut reserved for HS candidates and if your state rank is 300, you can be assured of a seat in NIT Calicut in any one branch, under HS category. However, the actuals may be lower since some of HS candidates may get allotment under All India quoat itself.
Dear Sir,this is the fifth time i am writing a question.Please give me answer.My keam rank is 5653.Can we change our priority and add more colleges after 1st allotment. If so,after getting an allotment in a college and if some other with a greater rank than me opt for that college,will i lose my seat in that college?

After each allotment, you will get a chance to alter the priority of the options remaining or delete some or all the options remaining. But you will not have the chance to add options that were there initially to the list for the reason you have mentioned. Hope the doubt is cleared.
