Dear Sir,

Pls clarify this regarding option registration. I have registerd 50 options and got 30th option in first allotment. ( say Civil in SF ). My hiigher options are for EC in other colleges. Now can I pay fees and wait for the 2nd allotment for EC chances? Is it correct that my first 29 options will be considered for 2nd allotment? Pls clarify sir.

What you have understood in correct. You have to pay fees once you get an allotment in first round. The options left above the allotted one will be considered for the 2nd allotment. However, if you wish to modify them - say delete some or change the order- that can be done within the permitted time.
MY RANK IN KEAM ENTRANCE EXAM 2010 IS 11367 IN GEN CATEOGRY.
AND 1666 IN EZHAVA CATEOGRY.
WILL I GET SEAT IN ANY GOOD ENGG. COLLEGES IN TVM FOR ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGG. STREAM? PLZ DO ANSWER ME SIR

It will depend on the options you have registered which is known to you only. You can go through the last ranks of 2009 and make an assessment of the chances based on the options you have registered.

aieee overall rank 227940,category 150104,state rank overall 9813,category 5360.i am in general category.do i have chance for a seat in NIT or related colleges anywhere in india.

As per the trends of 2009 no candidate with this rank got allotment under Open category in AIEEE allotment.
(1)Is the faculty of CET trivandrum temporary like other govt. colleges?
(2)I will surely get some or the other course in some IIT (there are 2570 seats for OBC and my rank is 2322).Should I go for that (IITian)or better study in best colleges in kerala.Please give your reply at the earliest.Thank you...

In CET, majority of staff are permanenet. There might be some guest faculty at times. Regarding the choice for IIT, it may depend on the IIT you are going to get admission. If you are very much in favour of studying in an IIT (of course it has an added value) do not bother if it is new one or not). If the allotment is an established IIT there is no doubt you can choose that. Otherwise think and take a wise decision.

It depends in your interest.and future plans. For immediate employment, it may be CE but for research oriented studies, BT may be appropriate.
what is manufacturing engineering and mining engineering?what does it mainly deal with? what is the future scope for these fields in india and abroad?

Manufacturing engineering is concerned with different practices of manufacturing,the research and development of tools, processes, machines and equipment. It includes product design and manufacturing system design as well as operation of the factory. More specifically, manufacturing engineering involves the analysis and modification of product designs so as to assure manufacturability; the design, selection, specification, and optimization of the required equipment, tooling, processes, and operations; and the determination of other technical matters required to make a given product according to the desired volume, timetable, cost, quality level, and other specifications.

Mining Engineering is concerned with the discovery, development, and exploitation of coal, ores, and minerals, as well as the cleaning, sizing, and dressing of the product. Mining engineering involves the practice, theory, science, technology and application of extracting and processing minerals from a naturally occurring environment. Mining engineering also includes processing minerals for additional value.

It depends on your future plans also. CET has an added advantage in respect of placements. If your plan is for higher studies NSS may be good for you since you are close to that place.
Is the lequid damage compansation is applicable from the first allotment itsef or only at the last allotment?
ie; if i got an allotment in the first allotment and i am not remitting fee
iam bound to pay compansation?

It is applicable for the final round of allotment only.
some of the colleges in kerala have seats for aieee rank holders..when i surf in the net i got information about it too.. some of the govt and aided colleges have seats... so my query is that how to get seats in that colleges under All India Quota...

Sorry, that information is not correct as per our knowledge. No Govt/Aided College in Kerala fills seats based on AIEEE ranks. NIT calicut alone in Kerala takes candidates based on AIEEE ranks.

I would like to know about biotechnology and specimen preparation......I got admission at UC college Aluva..will I get job oppertunities after completing this study...wht abt Bsc nursing which is better .....plz.help me sir....I'm in confusion....

Biotechnology is a research oriented subject and job opportunities are there in laboratories and research institutions. You have opportunities for higher studies also. Nursing takes you to jobs in Hospitals. You can also go for higher studies and enter the teaching profession. A job may come faster for a Nursing student than a Biotechnology student. But if you are a better students, job may not be a problem in either area. Any way the decision has to be yours.
