Mechanical engineering include research, development, design, manufacture, and testing of tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices.

Automobile Engg involves the activities of design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of automobiles. It is often considered as a specialisation in mechanical engineering.

Production Engineers deal with Manufacturing and effectively managing the Production sectors in the industries and also work in the R & D sector. The curriculum aims at development of analytical approach, managerial skills, entrepreneurship qualities, technical knowledge and gives updated and practical hands-on experience to work with typical machineries from basic machines to computer controlled machines.
Dear Sir, From the from the trial allotment there is a chance for me in getting into sct for mechanical production engineering.Is this course a good one or should I try for mechanical engineering in any other college.Is the facilities in sct good?Please give me your valuable suggestion quickly ,since there only a few time left.

If you become eligible for Mechanical, you may choose that. You have got Mech Production since you have not become eligible for that. So the option before you is to place Mechanical above Mechanical Production. SCT is a college in Demand. So facilities should be there.

It will be returned around November/December, after the closing of admission for the year .
Sir,
in trial allotment i have got in Model for EC (management seat).
What is your opinion about the college Sir? Is the CUSAT syllabus tough when compared to the MG syllabus. Is there a possibility that there could be changes in the first allotment list .

EC in Model is good. That college is considered to be one the best engg colleges in the state. Change in allotment may happen, depending upon the re arrangement of options by the students and also due to the late regn of options ie; after 5pm on 8th June. Anyway, be positive. You being a high rank holder may get the same college. All the best.

Then no doubt give option for AE at CET and try for a chance. If you get it join that proud institution and feel proud of it after four years and after. Branch selection depends on aptitude of the candidate. Don't worry about placements. If you complete the course with good pc there will be enough scope. Wish you all the best.

May be difficult since there are only 100 seats in the college. Anyway enquire the allotment status of 2009 at the Institute.
