Seats for B Arch are very few. Going by the data of 2009, chances of admission are remote.

it os heard that from this year cbce introdeced CGPA system for 10th standard examination. what does it means actually? one of my friend hav cgpa=9.8. what does it means? 98 %?? waiting for your valuble reply..

CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average. The CGPA is the average of Grade Points obtained in all the subjects excluding additional 6th subject as per Scheme of Studies. It is an overall indicative percentage of marks. An indicative equivalence of Grade Point and Percentage of Marks can be assessed as follows: Subject wise indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x GP of the Subject. Overall indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x CGPA . The above formula given by CBSE to convert grades into marks and percentage is only an approximation and not exact. Multiply the CGPA with 9.5 to get the indicative percentage. The Board took the result of the last five years and calculated the average marks of all candidates who had scored between 91 and 100. That average turned out to be close to 95 marks. Since the equivalent Grade Point for the 91-100 band (A1 grade) of marks is 10, it then divided the average result of 95 by 10. The result is 9.5.

Now by aaplying the above formula your mark seems to be 93.1

It is not sure whether you will be getting allt at SCMS or FIT for EC with this rank. As per the first trial allotment the EC last rank at FIT is 4538 and that of SCMS is 4462. So don't take a risk. You can try by registering options and waiting for allotment on 16th. Cusat counseling is from June 26. If you get EC at SCMS or FISAT join there. Otherwise wait for Cusat counseling . Most probably you will get admission there, not necessarily EC. See the second trial on Saturday and take a decision. Rajagiri is a good college, but the fee is high. Take that also into consideration.
