If you are free these days, prepare t a time table for the next three weeks covering all the topics of the papers you have to attend. All subjects and topics may be revised as far as possible. Study only for specified number of hours daily, you are comfortable with. Try to work out or answer old question papers, following the time schedule of the examination. Dont over strain yourself.If you cannot concentrate on your studies at any time, take rest and relax for some time and them=n come back to studies.

This has to be checked with the present university and the one you plan to shift to. It is better to complete the paper from the already enrolled University after a thorough preparation

Photonics is a subject that has evolved as a result of the fusion of optical technology with electronics. It is the use of light to obtain, convey or process information. It is the science of mastering the techniques involved in the emission, detection, transmission and modulation of light. This sub-discipline of physics deals with the study of photons, the elementary particle of light. It also deals with the instruments required such as laser guns, optical fibers, optometric instruments etc. In Photonic system, information signals are conveyed as pulses of light and these optical signals are transmitted through optical fibres. The M.Sc. course in Photonics includes subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Applied Optics, Quantum Optics, Instrumentation and Computer Science.
Photonics based companies and R&D institutions are growing day by day. They need people trained in photonics and allied areas. Photonics has made deep impacts in areas like communication, computing and control as well as in fields like medicine, industry, defense and entertainment. One can work for telecommunication companies or variety of other industries and R & D organizations involved in the area of networks, semiconductor technology, fibre and integrated optics, optoelectronics and software. A Photonics specialist can work as Engineers, technicians or technologists, research officers in government and industry laboratories and as professional officers in Universities and Government offices. Manufacturing, design, research, development, systems and applications are some of the fields they work in. The range of application of Photonics extends from energy generation and detection to communication and information processing. The Photonics scientist has to do more research work on Photonics, while the engineers design Photonic equipments. The Photonics technician helps the engineers in designing and manufacturing.
