Seats available for allotment will be shown in different categories (Govt/Aided/KAU/KUFOS/KVASU, Govt Controlled- Govt and Management, self Financing - Govt seats) and with different fee structures (Govt seat and Management Seats in Govt Controlled Self Financing Colleges have 2 fee structures). Each one is an option. You can decide your priorities for those as per your desire and give the choices starting from 1 (for the most preferred course), 2 (next preferred course), etc till you register all your interested options. Details are there in the KEAM Prospectus and will also be available in the official website at the time of option registration

I am a bio maths student from class 12. I would like to go for engineering after my class 12. So is it good to go for a stream which includes high coding syllabus like CSE or it good to go for Instrumentation and control engineering?

It depends on your aptitude and interest for the different branches. Try yo distinguish between the different branches and identify the branch that suits your aptitude and interest. If you are having high logical thinking and interested in coding CSE may suit you. But if you have interest in electronics and also have interest in machines, ICE may be appropriate.
